The Scottish Oceans Institute at the University of St Andrews is recruiting a leading marine scientist as the Director for the Biological Station Millport (UMBSM). This opportunity arises from a joint venture between the Universities of London and St Andrews and sits within the MASTS community. You will be expected to develop the academic potential of UMBSM as part of a range of successful research units and research centres already operating within the Scottish Oceans Institute. New investment in infrastructure is being made at the UMBSM as part of its development plan. This is an opportunity for a high achieving individual to lead a strong research- and teaching-led agenda in marine science and to integrate this within the substantial opportunities presented by the collaboration and resources presented by two of the UK’s leading academic institutions. If you would like to express an interest in this position then please contact Professor Ian Boyd, Director of the Scottish Oceans Institute (firstname.lastname@example.org).
