Lecturer in Ocean Science

The School of Environmental Sciences was created in 2009 to bring together the University’s world-class research expertise on aspects of the environment. The School currently comprises over 80 academic staff, around 40 research staff and around 200 postgraduate students. We are seeking to strengthen our portfolio further by the appointment of an additional 4 permanent academic staff with a strong track record of research and with a clear vision for the development of their research area.
£31,020 – £46,846 pa

You will deliver internationally excellent research in Ocean Science. We seek forward-thinking oceanographers who can complement or augment our existing strengths in ocean and shelf sea dynamics, ocean-climate interactions and organic, nutrient and trace metal biogeochemistry. You will have a PhD and we welcome applications from modellers, experimental and observational oceanographers, particularly those able to make links to the National Oceanography Centre.
