Postdoctoral Fellow – Genomics based analysis of marine planktonic communities

Directs, performs and supports research requiring technical knowledge in one or more research laboratories, or laboratory-oriented engineering and or science disciplines. a post-doc researcher to carry on analysis of planktonic diversity using 16S environmental tag sequencing . The goal of the project is to understand which factors determine biodiversity and betadiversity in planktonic systems in particular using molecular tools to determine the species present in the system. A secondary objective is to analyze gene expression under specific conditions (metatranscriptomics).
