This research associate will test and develop a sonic fluid processing system for obtaining products of commercial value from microalgae.
Applicants must have a strong BSc (1st or 2i) and/or MSc degree in the Biological, Chemical or Environmental Sciences, or Oceanography, experience of culturing microalgae (or plant cells) and meet all essential elements of the person specification. This project is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund and East of England Development Agency and PDX, Huntingdon. Applicants must be prepared to work at the University and the company.
This full time post is for 10 months commencing 16 January 2012.
