The Research Associate is expected to develop his/her own research project within the thematic framework of the INTERCOAST project, e.g. coastal dynamics and environmental as well as climate change related phenomena.
At least 50 % of the working time will be reserved for research, while the remaining time will be spent in supporting and networking with PhD-students in both countries. Applicants with interdisciplinary approaches in their research are encouraged to apply.
The position is offered for the duration of 24 months and is funded by the German Science Foundation (DFG). Salary and benefits are commensurated with the federal German employee scale TV-L 13.
